TELL HIM.... What they hid from you.

TELL HIM..

As you whisper love and pleasure to his ear don't forget to tell him the truth. The truth that has been hidden from him and others in school. Don't elude why we brought him here, why we struggle day and night to pay his fees and hostel accommodation. I understand you love and cherish him but tell him the truth.
As you play with him tell him that he will meet different types of people with different vision and purpose, that it is left for him to make a choice. Tell him about the power of choice..  Don't forget to tell him about dream busters, friends that don't like winning and don't want others to win, friends who are ready to destroy dreams and goals, friends that will laugh at him and make him feel worthless. Friends who will come  with a glittering stone to deceive him. Tell him to be careful that all that glitters are not gold. Tell him about friends  that will change his path to a destructive destination.
Don't feel so naive to tell him about cultism, blood and death. Let him know how it feels to live a life of terror and addictive. Tell him how disappointed this generation will be if he dies without discovering who he is. Don't forget to tell him about my Friend's story. A story of misfortune and misery, a story of an only son that died before his parents. Tell him, am sure he will listen to you.
Tell him about undiscovered  dreams, vision, talent, gifts, books, songs and potentials that are buried in the grave. Let him know how to say no to violence and cultism: tell him is better to be a coward than to sacrifice his vision on the alter of ego and pride. Tell him that a living dog is better than a dead Lion. Don't be shy to tell him about blood and it's implication in Igbo land. Tell him the secrets behind blood and the countenance of the land if he dare kill his brother in the name of cult crash .  He listens to you, so tell him.
As you praise him don't forget to tell him that he is not too young to die neither is he too old to die. Tell him how frustrated his generation will be if he die without leaving anything behind for them. Tell him how ugly his life will be if he says yes to that group. If he doubt, tell him about Ikeoha's story again and again.
Tell him and save the future president of Nigeria, tell him and save another Benson Carson from enriching the grave. Tell him and save the upcoming Chinua Achebe from dying. Tell and save another Aristotle.
